Mobile Wellness Units

Help us build a fleet of Mobile Wellness Units bringing desperately needed technology to thousands of individuals serving those who need it most for years to come. Your donation allow us to deliver advanced technology solutions on a regular basis, providing a bridge from Illness to Wellness.

Overview

Mobile Wellness Units are customized vans that are specially outfitted to serve as wellness centers providing desperately needed support to those experiencing the debilitating effects of Lyme and Chronic Autoimmune disease. Mobile Wellness Units provide effective technology to individuals who are unable to afford traditional treatments - or drive great distances - to improve their health. Wellness for Humanity brings the tools to those in need free of charge. A MWU could be designated for your neighborhood or your city.

Mobile Wellness Units provide care to a large group of individuals through a weekly route rotation. The MWUs will travel to one of five designated neighborhoods each day, visiting a different neighborhood each day of the week, each MWU can provide 50 to 100 members weekly with convenient and free care.

Each Mobile Wellness Unit will contain:

Two trained WFH Foundation Advocates
Two technology stations allowing the MWU to provide care for up to 100 members per week
Intake kiosk for data collection to track member experience and/or improvement, and support our ongoing clinical research and IRB studies
Tailgate presentation center providing educational seminars and public outreach

Recipients of Mobile Wellness Unit services complete a simple, anonymous electronic survey, helping us better understand improvements in sleep, mood, appetite, pain, mobility and cognition. This in turn will help future members reach their goals more efficiently and effectively.
