After five years of administering the Lyme to Wellness program and assisting numerous individuals, our research has conclusively revealed that trauma serves as the root cause of the majority of chronic illnesses. In light of this profound insight, we are redirecting our attention to our new initiative, the "Releasing Trauma Into Joy" program. This transformative program aims to address and alleviate the underlying trauma contributing to chronic illness, paving the way for healing and holistic well-being. Lyme Disease- A Growing Problem -
|
Lyme disease and other inflammatory diseases are tick-borne illnesses. Research indicates there also may be evidence of transmission from mother to child and between partners. Patients suffer from fatigue, joint pain, headaches, muscle weakness, vision and hearing loss, cognitive decline and neuropsychiatric symptoms. The CDC estimates there are 300,000 new cases of Lyme disease each year plus many unreported cases.

WFH Foundation, Lyme to Wellness program helps families with at least three positive Lyme diagnoses, by providing them a four month AmpCoil grant, including virtual support.

Why AmpCoil?
|
Our team of wellness professionals work to identify technologies that are most beneficial to those suffering from Lyme and Chronic Autoimmune diseases.
One of the most effective technologies that we have identified is AmpCoil, a safe, non-invasive system that helps to improve outcomes and accelerate wellness. To learn more about AmpCoil please visit their website: https://www.ampcoil.com |

In 2019, we launched our first Lyme to Wellness community pod, in Connecticut. During this program, twelve Lyme diagnosed individuals worked with the AmpCoil at a local healing facility. A team of local practitioners supported the participants in using the AmpCoil and monitored and recorded each participant's progress throughout the program with great success.

All data represented here are preliminary results from a pilot study with notable limitations in scope and experimental design. While these results are meant to help inform future work, they are not to be considered significant in a statistical or scientific sense, and are not meant for distribution, citation, or applied use.
While we are excited to use this data to guide future study, we want to express our knowledge of the limitations of the data which we are sharing. The lack of a “control” group, patients sampled who did not receive the experimental treatment (AmpCoil), makes it much more difficult to attribute any changes observed in this study to the treatment. The low sample size (number of patients observed) in this preliminary study also reduces confidence in the results. It is also worth noting that this study included no control for the “placebo effect” (the possibility that just the belief in treatment will render appreciable benefits, even if there is no actual treatment), which may especially effect results in this study, in which data are self-reported by patients. There is also a lack of consistency in which variables were reported by patients, particularly with some variables, meaning some symptoms have less data points than others. Also, other important co-variates, like patient medical history and whether patients were receiving other care during the study period, were not controlled for, or included in analysis. It is also important to note that while statistical metrics like p or R2 values are helpful tools for understanding data, they are often misused and can be misleading; even “significant” results should be taken with skepticism.
